Racking, Shelving
and pallet storage
STORAGE SOLUTIONS
The right storage components and solutions can greatly enhance the accessibility and efficiency of your entire operation. Industrial racks, mezzanines, and both static and mobile shelving maximize space, helping your team store, pick, move, and ship products cost-effectively. Using advanced data analysis and software, we can design a complete storage solution tailored to your needs, incorporating one or a combination of these systems to support your current and future order fulfillment requirements
maximize your
warehouse space
Our team of experts specializes in optimizing both vertical and horizontal space, ensuring you make the most of your existing storage areas. Why rent or buy additional storage when your current warehouse could hold untapped capacity? Let us help you find the space you didn’t know you had.
From pallet rack and pallet shelf systems to vertical carousels and conveyor systems, we collaborate closely with you to engineer, design, develop, and deploy storage solutions that optimize space, enhance efficiency, and improve ergonomics throughout your warehouse.
Types of Pallet Racking Systems
We’ve teamed up with almost every manufacturer to ensure you get exactly what you need, whether you’re after custom solutions or ready-made options
Drive-In Rack
A drive-in rack is a type of storage system used in warehouses and distribution centers that allows forklifts to drive directly into the rack to store and retrieve pallets. This system maximizes storage density by eliminating the need for multiple aisles. Some key features and benefits of drive-in racks: High storage Density, Cost efficiency and LIFO inventroy management.
Drive-Through Rack
A drive-through rack is a type of high-density storage system similar to a drive-in rack, but with a significant difference in accessibility and loading/unloading processes. Key features and benefits of drive-through racks: Accessibility from Both Ends and FIFO inventory management.
Cantilever Rack
A cantilever rack is a type of storage system designed to efficiently store long, bulky, or irregularly shaped items that cannot be easily stored on traditional pallet racks. Key features and benefits of cantilever racks: Versatile Storage
Carton FLOW RACK
A carton flow rack, also known as a case-flow rack, is a dynamic storage system designed to optimize order picking and inventory management for cartons and small items. Here are the key features and benefits of carton flow racks: FIFO Inventory Management and Enhanced Picking Efficiency.
PALLET FLOW RACK
A pallet flow rack, also known as a gravity flow rack, is a dynamic storage system designed to increase the efficiency of palletized inventory management and order picking. Key feature and benefits of pallet flow racks: First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Inventory Management.
PUSH BACK RACK
A push-back rack is a type of high-density storage system designed to optimize warehouse space while facilitating efficient inventory management. Here's how it works and why it's beneficial: Space Optimization, Ease of Access.

IN-HOUSE ENGINEERING
AND PERMITTING
From start to finish, Welch is there every step of the way. Design, Permitting, engineering and implementation. Custom Solutions.
BUILDING PERMIT PROCESS
Our Designers and Engineers will sit down with you to learn about your specific material handling systems you utilize. Permitting comes second and sometimes the hardest. We take care of all permitting for racking design and installation as well.

STATIC AND MOBILE SHELVING
Welch Solutions and Support can assist with the selection and installation of warehouse shelving, modular storage, and mobile storage, helping you maximize storage in tight spaces.
Pallet rack
assessment
UPRIGHTS: We look for low column damages as most damage happens in the first 24″ from the ground due to fork truck impact. We check for bends, crushing, pushing in or busted anchors, ensuring all frames are bolted to floor and that no bolts are busted.
BEAMS: We ensure that your beams are not bowing or deflecting, as this is a sign you are putting too much weight on the level.
Wire Deck: All wire decks are stated for uniformly distributed loads. If you have pallets that are fully rested on the wire deck, it’s recommended to have heavier wire deck with additional channels to support the load.
